Diploma and Certificate Courses

In MMI (London), our courses are aimed at helping our students develop a high level of professional competence as teachers of the Montessori Method of Education of any level of children they are responsible for.

MMI (London) offers Montessori Diploma Courses in Early Years Education for early years teachers and practitioners. These courses meet the National and International requirements for teaching and practicing in the early years setting.

The Diploma Courses also effectively equip those wishing to start their own Early Years Schools, and Graduates with MMI international Diploma easily find jobs both in Nigeria and Overseas.

Montessori Diploma in Infant & Toddler Care (MDIT) (Teaching 0 – 3 years)

The course is designed to prepare care-givers and teachers working with infants and toddlers between the age of 2 months and 36 months, to acquire the relevant knowledge and skills that are required for effective care, management and operation of Infant and Toddlers Care Programme.

During the course of study, students will explore key principles and practices that will enable them to learn how to nurture and support infants’ development from 2 months to 36 months in a centre based environment or home.

 

MDIT MODE OF STUDY

Intensive Diploma Study (MDIT) – 3 Months

  • 5 Days (Morning) Mon – Fri– (9am – 2pm)

Full-Time Diploma (MDIT) – 6 Months

  • 5 Days (Morning) Mon – Fri– (9am – 1pm)

Part-Time Diploma (MDIT) – 1 Year

  • Weekly Study (Mon, Wed & Fri) –(9am – 12pm)
  • Weekly Study (Mon, Wed & Fri) –(3pm – 6pm)

Intake Dates – Full Time (6 months) – November and May of every year.

  • Part Time (1 year) – February and July of every year.

 

Diploma in Montessori Method of Education (DMT) (Teaching 21/2 – 6 years) and Advance Diploma in Montessori Method of Education (ADMT)

(Teaching 6 – 9 years)

This is a Diploma in Montessori teacher training course(DMT). It is suitable for those wishing to take up a role as a class directress in teaching young children, in the age range 2 ½ – 6yrs, through the Montessori Method of Education. The Diploma Course is a pre-requisite for anyone wishing to study towards the Advanced Diploma in Montessori Method of Education (ADMT) teaching 6 – 9 years.

The Advanced Diploma in Montessori Method of Education Course (ADMT) (6 – 9 yrs) allows learners to explore the dynamic changes in children during this time of imagination, growth and increased independence. It focuses primarily on the development of children and is suitable for individuals wishing to work with or to teach children from 6 to 9 years of age.

 

DMT MODE OF STUDY

Full-Time Diploma (DMT) – 6 Months

  • 4 Days (Morning)per Week (Mon – Thur)
  • 2 Days (Weekend)per Week (Frid & Sat)

 

Part-Time Diploma (DMT) – 1 Year

  • Weekend Study (Saturdays Only) – (10am – 4pm)

ADMT MODE OF STUDY

Full-Time Certificate (ADMT) – 6 Months

  • 5 Days (Mon – Fri) – (10am – 1pm)

Part-Time Certificate (ADMT) – 1 Year

  • Weekend Study (Saturday) – (9am – 3pm)

  • Full Time (6 months) – November and May of every year.
  • Part Time (1 Years) – February and June of every year.

 

ADMT

  • Full Time ( 6 months) – November and May of every year.
  • Part Time (1 Year) – February and July of every year.

 

Teaching Assistants Certificate Course (CMT) (Teaching 21/2 – 6 years)

This is a Certificate Montessori Teacher Training Programme. It is suitable for individuals who wish to take up roles as Assistant Teachers in teaching young children within the age range of 2½ – 6years, through the Montessori Method of Education.

The Certificate Course is the perfect introduction for anyone wishing to study the Diploma in

Montessori Method of Education.

 

CMT MODE OF STUDY

Full-Time (CMT) – 3 Months

  • 2 Days (Morning) Tue & Thur– (9am – 12pm)
  • 2 Days (Afternoon) Tue & Thur– (3pm – 6pm)

 

Part-Time (CMT) – 6 Months

  • Weekend Study (Saturdays) –(9am – 12pm)
  • Weekend Study (Saturdays) – (3pm – 6pm)

Intake Dates – Full Time ( 3 months) – February and September of every year.

  • Part Time (6 months) – November and May of every year.
